COVENANT HOUSE
needs volunteers (call 344-8053, hours: 8 AM–Noon or 1–4 PM).
DROP IN CENTER, 600 SHREWSBURY STREET
- needs: spray deodorant, razors.
FOOD PANTRY
is low on food at the moment. Need basically anything in the protein
family. Any of the following items would be very helpful: cleaning
supplies.
CLOTHING CLOSET
- Items can be delivered to St. Mark’s United Methodost Church
during business hours. Items needed: MEN’s underwear (sizes 28-40)
desperate need; men’s blue
jeans, black work
pants; men’s dark and light socks; men’s white shirts; black pants;
ladies’ & childrens’s underwear and socks; men’s shoes–large sizes 9
½ to 14 - Black and tennis).
AIDS PROGRAM
-volunteers are needed to answer the telephones. Flexible hours between
8:30 - 4:30 on weekdays. The AIDS houses need mulch for flower beds
(about 40 bags), a VCR. Call Amanda Lowther or Rhonda Connard, 344-0530.

families staying at the facility:

journals, monthly planners, gift certificates for activities,
bulletin board supplies, poster board, electric pencil sharpener, glue
sticks

lice shampoo, make-up (light colors), scented body lotion for
teens, hair accessories, boys cologne & deodorant

socks and underwear (for
children & women), children’s bathing suits, teen swim trunks,
children’s life jackets, purses
